BEAST♥

 BEAST is a boy group from South Korea that consists of six members, under Cube Entertainment. The group was originally known as B2ST, an acronym for Boys to Search for Top. However, their name was changed to BEAST (Boys of the EAst Standing Tall) a few days before debut. They released their first mini-album Beast is the B2ST on October 14, 2009.

Their styles and performance on stage really made a great impact on the eyes of their fans. Many teenagers idolizes them so much. Their fans here in the Philippines are eager to watch them perform here. I am also a fan of them because i love their moves and music. My favorite song of them is "Beautiful". It really made me dance and groove! HAHA;)

2NE1 FASHION CHECK

Over the weekend the Mnet Asian Music Award (MAMA) where hosted in Seoul in Korea, as yet there has not been much released to the western world about the fashion that was seen on the red carpet. While we wait for pictures of this event to come in I hope to wet your appetite with a look at the fashion of 2NE1 who picked up the award for ‘Song of Year’ at the MAMA.
There is no denying that these girls have been seen in some crazy outfits, but in general they are fun and funky. Take the below nothing seems to match, all four of these ladies are sporting a different look but it works because they use a relatively similar colour palate. As usual they are working tights or skin tight pants, this seems to be the only reoccurring fashion style in the bands wardrobe.

Below you can see that again there are skin tight pants, this is a look that is spreading all over the Asian and western world. It is a trend you need to be careful with, if you are quite skinny you should be fine but if you are anything over a size 10 then you need to look at what you couple with your tights. I would suggest bigger, baggier tops like the singer on the far right that extend to cover the rear. If you are small you can get away with just a normal top.

Here the girls have changed the look up a bit by playing with accessories. By losing the high heels and putting on sneakers they have lost the fun and flirty look and headed in to a grungy, rock and roll place. I prefer 2NE1 as a fun pop group and hope they keep the heels out but it does show you that you can wear your clothes in different ways and if you are feeling like a change maybe you can just have a look at some new accessories.

Who would have known the famous Korean group 2ne1? They are a South Korean hip hop/pop girl group formed by YG Entertainment in 2009. 2NE1 consists of 4 members: CL, Minzy, Dara and Bom. The group's name 2NE1 stands for "New Evolution of the 21st Century".First appearing in "Lollipop", a commercial campaign with Big Bang for LG Telecom, their debut single Fire" was released on May 6, 2009. Since then, they have released oneextended play, 2NE1, and one studio album, To Anyone. "Fire", "I Don't Care", "Nal Ddara Haebwayo", and "Go Away" have all hit number one in South Korea.

Filipinos love their music and styles in clothing. They have a lot of Fans here in the Philippines and especially in all other countries.

Nowadays, Asian style of clothing has already burst into a phenomena. Asians especially Koreans had really a great influence in their way of clothing and sytle. Rihanna is increasingly sporting a kind of Gaga-lite look. If this outfit was made of actual toilet paper, rather than just looking like it is, then she might have made more impact. However, in the context of incubating eggs, all-over leopard and angel wings, it barely raises an eyebrow.

Danica Flores Magpantay is a 17-year-old that have 5’9″ tall and weighs 109 lbs. A Fine Arts student from the University of the Philippines.

SHE BROUGHT HOME THE BACON!

Supermodel of the World (Ford Supermodel of the Year, formerly Face of the 80s) is an international modeling contest established by Eileen Ford in 1980. The contest showcases young fashion model entrants from over 50 countries in order to discover new talent for the fashion industry. The winner of the international final event receives the industry’s largest prize, a $250,000 modeling contract with Ford Models. The two runners up receive contracts of $150,000 and $100,000 respectively.

Danica Flores Magpantay, daughter of renowned make-up artist Lala Flores , represented the Philippines in the Ford Models - Supermodel of the World 2011 competition.

And Danica won, becoming the first ever Filipina to win the contest.

It was held on Saturday, January 22, 2011, in New York City, participated in by around 70 supermodels from different countries.



Danica is only 17 years old whose mom Lala Flores was also a Philippine representative during the Supermodel of the World contest held in 1990.

Open toe shoe -- This is basically a pump shoe as described above where the front is cut away to expose all of the toes. When this is done to only expose the big toe or middle toes using a smaller cutaway it would be referred to as a peep hole shoe.

 

TYPES OF SHOES FOR WOMEN

There are many types of women's shoes and here are the names and descriptions of many common and not so common types.

Pumps -- These are shoes where the foot is supported all around the shoe front, back and on both sides and can have an ankle strap. The sole is a one piece type with a heel of any size with a high heel pump often called a stiletto.

For all occasions a dress asks for high heels and a purse to match the shoes.

A day out of work is better to spend in a short- or middle-length dress. Choose something light and simple.

An evening requires a dress to be either long or short, but always fancier than a day dress. A dress for an evening may demand more jewelry, a brighter makeup, and luxurious accessories.

Choosing a Dress

Choosing a dress is choosing an image. Each dress creates a different impression, carries different feelings, and shapes different images. That is why, before choosing a dress, decide what impression it should create: that of a strict business woman or of a gentle friend. Decide what story the dress should tell the surrounding people today: about a good or a bad mood, about an intrigue or a challenge, about self-confidence or modesty. Choose.
And the most important: whatever image is chosen for today, make sure the choice is sincere. Wearing something that does not correspond to or does not reflect the personality will not make the needed impression. Such a dress, instead of creating and reinforcing the image, will only look like another piece of clothing.

Wearing a Dress

Having chosen the look for today, it’s time to put it on. But remember: each dress requires different treatment and some additional details in the overall behavior. It won’t be appropriate to rush along the streets in a long dress. The same relates to wearing a very short dress in an office, for example.

For work the optimal variant would be a middle-length dress accompanied with minimum makeup and jewelry, plus a jacket if the dress has short sleeves.
